Wait.. I had a blog site? Huh.. funny.

It's been almost two years since my last post on this blog. I feel so... neglectful towards such a powerful such as a blogging site like this. Well, all is well. I mean, even if there isn't anybody actually reading these, it's kind of nice to look back and see the kind of things that are or were important to me at some time.
To say that a lot has happened over the past two years is definitely an understatement. Between April of 2010 and March 13th of 2012, I guess for starters I'll have to start with where I am. Currently, I am an undeclared University of Oregon student in Eugene, Oregon. I graduated from high school in June of 2011 with the intentions of majoring in architecture. Well, after a Fall term of dipping my feet in the water and trying it out, I made the decision in January this year to not major in architecture. Currently, I am possibly looking at a degree in business, maybe product design, or something around those lines. I'm not quite sure right now.
You're probably wondering what exactly prompted my decision to post something on the blog that I created over 3 years ago with the intentions of being used as a tracking record of my path to an education in design. Well, I guess I was just reminded of it recently by a friend and her blog. Maybe it's that.. or maybe it's that I just finished a book titled "Youth in Revolt" by C.D. Payne and find myself inspired to write anything. Last Thursday, for the first time ever, I invested in a small moleskin journal that is small enough to fit in my everyday pant pockets. In this journal, I write EVERYTHING. I don't know why I started it, but it might go back to the book I just finished this evening, because it was written in a sort of diary entry sort of format. Oh well. I can't tell if it's doing me good or bad though. Either way, I definitely find it enjoyable to write down my thoughts.
Well, I know I didn't write that much, but it seems sufficient enough to post. I'm in the tenth week of the winter term (finals next week!) and can almost see the sunny beaches of San Diego waiting for me, as well as my short but awesome basset hound. Oh, and the car I miss so dearly..

Sincerely (after a brief hiatus),
CARTER ROGERS
